The Hobbes Fanclub |
An indie pop band from Bradford, England |
A little Hobbes update: We shot the video to our new single last week, and had a bit of a photo shoot at the same time. Here’s one of the better ones. The test pressings for the single have been approved so we should have an official release date very soon!
We had a lovely time at Going Up The Country last Saturday, and looking forward to playing at No Hands in Bradford on 29th June.
Playing with us that night will be the smashing Buen Chico from Leeds, check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/buenchico
Hobbes t shirts are back in stock in new colours. We have a limited amount of yellow, light blue and grey marl tees. Hand printed by Leon on quality Fruit of the Loom t shirts. Each purchase also includes an immediate download of The Hobbes Fanclub EP.

Us on the 100 Club stage at London Popfest last week.
We’re also dead chuffed to be releasing our next single on Shelflife Records this summer. We’re recording in the next two weeks and will be producing it ourselves. It will be a 7” vinyl release with download voucher and you will also be able to buy the mp3s from the Shelflife website. The single should hopefully be out in June.
It will be the first recording featuring Louise and Adam. Not only that, we will be making our first video in time for the release, and I’ve already acquired a Super 8 camera to shoot it on.

We are really excited to be playing this years Indietracks alongside a host of brilliant bands. Really looking forward to seeing which other Slumberland bands will be playing too……

We’ve set up a Bandcamp page to sell you our wares. First up is a small batch of tee shirts and tote bags designed and screen printed at home by Leon. There aren’t many left but you can download three songs for as little as you want there too.
