It’s finally end of the year mix time! 2012 was such an amazing year so many kinds of music, and in particular, POP! You can slice that up in so many ways, and that’s probably why I spent over three weeks time pulling this year’s mix together! I’m sure I accidentally left a few favorites out, but I did my best cover everything I loved. Even if I loved it passionately for two weeks and then threw it away, it still matters to me! So here they are, all five volumes. 20 songs each, adding up to a grand total of 100 songs that I thought were better than all of the other songs this. GO NUTS!!!
Links have been updated and should be OK now! Thanks JDP!
We’re so looking forward to this - another London popshow this time with The Sweet Nothings and The Tuts at the Stags Head in Hoxton. Click the picture for ticket details. You’re coming right?
Lovely.

Hey so this is what we’re up to in the next month or two.
First up we’re playing the Sheffield Pop Weekender on Sunday 26th August, its a smashing line up - http://sheffieldpop.wordpress.com/
Then two weeks later we’re ever so excited to be heading for our first European show in Paris with the ace Tender Trap for Another Sunny Night on 8th September - https://www.facebook.com/events/428441097177162/
At the end of September we play the equally lovely Nottingham Pop Alldayer on Saturday 29th September - https://www.facebook.com/events/148146875310750/
On top of all that we’re hopefully heading back to London in late October, watch this space for more info.
Lastly our single Your Doubting Heart got played by Steve Lamacq on BBC 6Music the other week. Woo! Get your copy from www.shelflife.com if you haven’t already. If downloads are your thing you can get it direct from Shelflife or from all the usual digital outlets eg iTunes, Amazon and that.
Ooh yeah, we’re also working on some new songs which may get an airing at those shows if we get them knocked into shape.
Thats all for now, hope to see you soon! x
Our new single is officially released today on Shelflife Records. Its available on 7” vinyl with immediate mp3 download direct from Shelflife or from one or two sites worldwide. To celebrate here’s a video we made for the A side Your Doubting Heart.
And here is us playing said single in the church at Indietracks a couple of weeks ago. Not sure whats going on with Leon’s received pronunciation in introducing the song though! We’re proper Yorkshire really.
And a lovely review it is, cheers Sam.
Indiepop doo wop!
We had the best time at Indietracks this weekend. Playing in the church was one of the most amazing experiences any of us has ever had. Thank you so much to everyone who came to see us and for making it so special. Thanks also to everyone at Team Indietracks and the Midland Railway, particularly to Marianthi and Ian, to every blogger or promoter who has written about us and helped us get to this point, particularly A Layer of Chips, Not Unloved, Please Rain Fall, Jennifer at Colour Me Pop, Gary at Bubblegum Recs and Jerv at WIAIWYA. Thanks also to Roque, Gary and Ed at Cloudberry, Dufflecoat and Shelflife respectively and to everyone who has bought our music and come to see our other shows, and not forgetting Fabi who sang on our first two singles. We’re all aglow at the moment :)
